A slice of nature for your kitchen.

Each board is cut straight from a single acacia log, showing off the tree’s natural growth rings, rich dark heartwood and a pale live edge where the bark once sat. No two are the same. Every board has its own shape, rings and character.

It’s left natural, with no paint or wax, so you see the timber exactly as it grew. Use it for chopping, or set it on the table as a rustic serving board for cheese, bread, cured meats and grazing spreads.

It’s a beautiful piece to give, too. It suits anyone who loves natural, earthy styling in their home.

Choose your size

  • Small (approx. 23–27 cm across): perfect for cheese, bread or a snack board for two
  • Medium (approx. 28–31 cm across): the everyday size for prep and serving
  • Large (approx. 32–36 cm across): a statement piece for grazing spreads and entertaining

Why you’ll love it

  • Cut from a single piece of acacia, so every board is one of a kind
  • Natural growth rings and live edge
  • Left natural with no paint or wax
  • Great for chopping, serving and styling
  • Solid 2.5 cm thickness

Please note: each board is cut from a natural log, so the shape, size, colour and weight vary from piece to piece. Diameters are approximate, and the board you receive will be unique and may differ slightly from the photos.

Caring for your board
Before first use, rub in a generous coat of food-safe board oil, and repeat every couple of weeks. Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry it standing upright straight away. Never soak it, put it in the dishwasher, or leave it near heat or in direct sun.

Every board is one of a kind

Each board is made from natural timber, so the grain, colour and the odd knot will vary from piece to piece. That's the beauty of real wood. The board you receive will be uniquely yours and may look slightly different from the photos.

Questions, answered

End grain or edge grain: what's the difference?

End-grain boards are made from blocks with the wood fibres facing up, like the top of a bundle of straws. Your knife slips between the fibres, so they're the gentlest on your blades and hide cut marks well.

Edge-grain boards show the long, flowing grain of the timber. They're lighter, slimmer and easier to move around, which makes them perfect for everyday prep and serving.

Which oil should I use?

Any food-safe board oil or food-grade mineral oil works well. Avoid cooking oils like olive or vegetable oil, as they can turn rancid over time.

Is it safe to cut raw meat on a wooden board?

Yes. Wash the board with hot soapy water straight after use and dry it standing upright. Many cooks keep one board for raw meat and another for fruit, vegetables and bread.

Can I put my board in the dishwasher?

Please don't. The heat and water in a dishwasher can warp or crack natural timber. A quick hand wash and dry is all it needs.

Will my board look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every board is cut from natural timber, so the grain and colour are unique to your piece.

Does it make a good gift?

A beautiful board is a gift that gets used every single day. If you're buying for Christmas, order early so it arrives in time.
