Most small businesses that take cash still count it the way they did thirty years ago. Ten minutes at the end of the day, licking a thumb, losing count halfway through, starting again — and at the end of all that, still no real idea whether every note in the stack is genuine.
That's the problem we're here to solve. One machine, chosen on specification: up to 1,000 notes a minute, ultraviolet, magnetic, infrared and double-note detection on every note that passes through, and a dollar total from a mixed stack without sorting it into piles first.
We don't carry a catalogue. There's one product here because one is what we'd recommend, and a page of near-identical machines helps nobody decide.
How we work
Everything ships from a warehouse in the United States — three to five business days, not a month from overseas. Free shipping on every order, tracking the moment it leaves.
Thirty days to change your mind. If it arrives faulty we replace it or refund you, and we won't ask you to send an eleven-pound machine back across the country to prove it.
Email gets answered within one business day by someone who knows the product.
What we'll tell you up front
This machine runs on US mains power and counts US dollars and euros only. It won't work outside the United States. We say so on the product page, in the FAQ and in our terms, because a sale to someone who can't plug it in isn't a sale — it's a refund and a wasted week for both of us.
The counterfeit detection is four independent checks on every note. It isn't infallible. Nothing at any price is, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
We're not the only place you can buy a note counter, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we will do is stock one we'd put on our own counter, hold it in the US so it reaches you in days rather than weeks, and actually reply when something goes wrong.
